The first thing in Vivo V5 has stylish looks and rich feel, the front, especially at the bottom. It has smooth form factor having a 7.55mm slim body, curved edges and shiny lines running along the edges.

The front panel of Vivo V5 has a 5.5 inch 720 x 1280 pixels IPS display with 2.5D Corning Gorilla Glass. The display also supports an ‘Eye Protection Mode’ feature that filters out blue light to prevents eye harm  and the Moonlight flash is on the right side, a Front-facing camera is the left side of the earpiece above the screen. The Micro USB port, mic, 3.5mm audio jack and speaker holes are smartly carved at the bottom

Camera And Platform

Focussing on the selfie crazy folks, It comes with a 20-megapixel front-facing camera which is paired with a LED flash that shoot pictures and record videos. At the back, the smartphone comes with a 13mp rear camera is assisted by a LED flash to handle dull environments. The Vivo V5 runs the Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system out of the box.

Performance And Battery

Users can expect smooth and perfect performance as it is armed with a 1.8GHz octa-core Snapdragon 652 chipset. Also, working on more than two apps simultaneously shouldn’t be an issue as there is 4GB of RAM to support with 32GB ROM and a full day of smartphone usage with the non-removable Li-Ion 3,000 mAh battery.


In terms of connectivity, there are options like 4G, dual-SIM support, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, GPS, Bluetooth 4.1, and a microUSB 2.0 port.  

Vivo V5s Review:  Design And  Display

Vivo V5s is much better than the Vivo V5, the back panel design looks exactly to the Vivo V5 Plus handset.  From the front one would make out if it is the Vivo V5 or the V5s. There is a hybrid Dual SIM slot – with Micro SD card.

Vivo V5s Memory, Storage and Camera

The unique thing about the V5s is the ROM, comes with 4GB RAM and 64GB ROM  with 13MP rear camera with flash and 20MP camera on the front with moonlight glow option.  It is the same as seen on Vivo V5. Overall camera quality is  an average, but the front camera is much better than the rear camera, and that makes sense since this is a selfie smartphone.


The V5s comes with the fingerprint sensor that is very accurate and fast.  Vivo V5 smartphones  the Vivo V5s both comes with 3000 mAh non-removable battery and the battery performance is the same. Vivo V5 is all about the selfies,  the 20MP selfie camera, its fill-light, the 4GB of RAM,
